Christian Ministries offers a Men’s Sleeping Room every night from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.  You will be warmly greeted and provided a bed, a shower, clean clothes, dinner and breakfast for the new day.  The Sleeping Room is located at 403-1/2 E. Main Street in downtown Muncie.

Our Family Shelter is a safe place to keep your family intact for up to 45 days while Christian Ministries staff works with you for a longer-term solution.  Our Family Shelters are located at 401 E. Main Street in downtown Muncie.

Christian Ministries offers a Food Pantry every Tuesday from 10:00am-12:30pm, and every Wednesday through Friday from 9:00am-12:30pm.  Visit for staple items, meats, and fresh fruits and vegetables when available.  Please don’t go hungry – help is here.

Our Food Pantry is located at 401 E. Main Street in downtown Muncie.  Eligibility is based on the number of people in your household.  Food Pantry visits are limited to one per household per month so we can accommodate as many individuals and families as possible.  Picture ID is required.

We also provide vouchers for food pantries at High Street United Methodist Church and Grace Lutheran Church.  See a list of all area food pantries.

If you are in danger of eviction or shut-off of utilities because you are unable to pay, we may be able to help.  Utility and rent assistance is by appointment only and can only be received one time per year. Click here for a list of items you must bring to your scheduled appointment. 

If you need blankets or other bedding to ensure warm nights, we offer a Blanket Cupboard in partnership with Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Muncie.  Visit our offices at 401 E. Main Street in downtown Muncie to request a voucher.

If you are in need of diapers, wipes, formula, or other baby supplies, items are available Monday through Friday, 9:00am-1:00pm at 401 E. Main Street.
